Position Summary                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         We are seeking passionate, reliable, and student-centered tutors to join our growing team. Tutors will provide one-on-one and small-group instruction, both in-person and online. Ideal candidates are committed to excellent instruction, consistent communication, and helping every student reach their academic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engaging, standards-aligned tutoring sessions for K–12 students
  • Implement Greater Minds’ instructional frameworks and progress-monitoring tools
  • Communicate regularly with families and/or school partners
  • Track attendance, session notes, and student progress
  • Use data to adjust instruction and support individualized learning plans
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive learning environment
  • Attend occasional paid training and onboarding sessions
    
Qualifications
Required:
  • Experience tutoring or teaching K–12 students
  • Strong knowledge of your subject area(s)
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
  • Reliable internet for virtual sessions (if online)
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and integrity
    Preferred (but NOT required):
  • Prior classroom teaching experience
  • Special Education experience
  • Certified teacher or working toward certification
  • Experience working with diverse learners and multilingual students
